On August 8, 1996, Greg
joined an esteemed group of surfers when he was inducted
into the Huntington Beach Surfing Walk of Fame. He joined
Rell Sunn, Nat Young, Bud Browne, and Corky Carroll as 1996
honorees. Other surfers already inducted into the HBSWF are:
Duke Kahanamoku, Tom Blake, Phil Edwards, Tom Curren, Mark
Richards, Bruce Brown, Robert August, John Severson, Herbie
Fletcher, Joyce Hoffman, and Margo Oberg.
